Activity: 1 hour cleaning/reorganizing kitchen
Journal: humilation is not good often but it can be an agent of change. When I was 525 I went to the Breaks Park but was unable to walk to most scenic spots due to bad knees and mobility due to my size. I had to rest more than move and felt embarrassed I had disabled myself, so I started walking and eating better, and seeing a doctor with a dr appt buddy. I lost 120 lbs but I got comfortable with myself and in a couples years found myself gaining half that weight back. I went on a trip last week that includes walk with hills and steps (2.5 miles total) that was a struggle but I celebrated I still had mobility to do it even if I got sore. Then the last night of trip I played a game with 3 travel mates sitting alone on a table bench and after 30 minutes it gave out and I was on the ground and humilated once again. Everyone was kind to me, thankfully we had a handy man who repaired it on the trip. I do not want to be a guy that breaks a bench for 3 ever again. A nephew marries this fall and I dont want to fear a seat may give out on me in the wedding venue or my own wedding next year. I need to figure out how to not let myself get comfortable and start gaining after, but that is a battle to win in the future.
